Autumn is rapidly moving on toward the season that comes next here in Ohio. Some of you folks may be winter people, and that is great. For many of the rest of us, we kind of get through it. But each season has it unique beauties, and blessing. For now we are enjoying these cool, refreshing nights, and sunny invigorating days. It’s hard to describe the panorama of colorful leaves as you drive the country roads. Topping a rise can be breathtaking as the scene unfolds in front of you.

At Locust Corners, we try to embrace each season, and especially the flavors that go with it. Each of us has traditions that we enjoy and that give us a sense of wellbeing and stability. Thanksgiving Day brings Autumn to a close and is filled with memories and traditions. What isn’t to like about warm comfort food, and time spent with family and friends? Each year I try to treasure it, because in this world we don’t have a promise of another.

And we also remember that for many in our world, they have no day that can be set aside for comfort. We have so much to thank the Lord for!
